This was one of the best hotel experiences of my life! The staff were incredibly friendly and responsive. The rooms were clean and well appointed. The food was amazing and we eat at the hotel for both meals each day. The reception area was incredibly helpful with a couple of personal issues that showed up for us while we were there, all of which had nothing to do with the hotel. Next time I'm in the UK I will definitely go back to the Isle of Wight and stay at the Albion Hotel again. Five stars across the board!!

Great service and very friendly, attentive staff who make the atmosphere at the hotel very welcoming and relaxing. Delicious food and choices of dishes. Lovely, clean and spacious rooms with great bed and bathroom facilities ( fab shower especially), tho' an easy chair would have been a great addition. And the sea view....just fabulous! The Albion is definitely a super hotel worth a visit!

From the moment we arrived, we felt genuinely welcomed by the incredible staff at The Albion. Their friendliness and attentiveness were consistent throughout our entire stay and made the experience feel special from start to finish. We first visited The Albion about six months ago just to try the restaurant, and the food back then was absolutely stunning—good enough to bring us back for a two-night stay this time. We’re so glad we returned. The hotel is extremely dog-friendly, and it was really lovely to find a place that genuinely cares about the dog just as much as the owner. Every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure we all felt comfortable and well looked after. Our room had the most amazing seaviews. Watching both the sunrise and sunset from our window was unforgettable. The room itself was beautifully finished, with great attention to quality and comfort. I can honestly say I had the best night’s sleep I’ve had in ages—the bed, duvet, and pillows were all exceptional. The food during our stay was once again fantastic, and the whole experience was elevated even further by the warm, helpful, and genuinely lovely staff. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended, and we can’t wait to return

We had a really lovely stay at the Albion Hotel in Freshwater and would happily return. The hotel itself is beautiful and in a fantastic location, and the staff were genuinely wonderful throughout our stay, friendly, welcoming and very helpful. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic, with a really lovely shower, bath and plenty of space. Dinner in the restaurant was excellent and very good value for the quality. It was probably one of the highlights of our stay, the food was delicious and the atmosphere in the dining room was relaxed but still felt special. There were just a couple of small things that could be improved. The bathroom amenities (shampoo/body wash etc.) felt a little basic compared to the rest of the experience, and the breakfast unfortunately didn’t quite live up to the standard of the dinner. It felt like the items were reheated rather than freshly prepared, which was surprising given how good the evening meal was. We also had a fuse blow in our bedroom in the morning. To the hotel’s credit it was fixed very quickly, but it did mean we couldn’t have the slow, relaxed start to the day we had planned as we needed to allow a member of staff into the room. That said, these were fairly minor points overall and didn’t detract from what was a really enjoyable stay. The location, the lovely staff, comfortable rooms and excellent dinner make it a hotel we would absolutely recommend.

We went for lunch after celebrating the life of family members . It was absolutely fantastic and well worth the drive from the other side of the island. I was impressed that the suppliers were not satisfied with some of the produce delivered. There is nothing worse than sub standard produce. This did not take anything from the meal that we had as it was fantastic. I would highly recommend this restaurant and will visit every time I visit.

We are island residents needing a little bit of R&R and our stay was absolutely perfect in every way - the room was magnificent - beautifully designed and furnished and had the most incredible sea views - we watched the waves crashing in and the surfers. Our evening meal was delicious - breakfast was relaxing with a wonderful choice and again, the views from the restaurant were stunning. The staff couldn’t have been more thoughtful and friendly - really smiley and accommodating- I couldn’t fault our stay - It was calm, relaxing - a really really beautiful hotel -

Definitely the best hotel on the island for outstanding views, great food and cocktails and amazing rooms that are beautifully decorated. Particular mention the bar Manager whose expert knowledge of wine is what you expect from a high end establishment. His cocktails are the best we have ever tasted. All staff are extremely attentive and friendly with an attitude of nothing is too much trouble. The food is exquisite so utmost praise to the chef, Matt I think his name is. We are already looking forward to our next visit, well done all for making it such a special stay x
